As a member of MA Creative Media Practice you should find your name below. This lists everyone involved in the programme and two or three key bits of information about them.

Alistair Williams

Alistair (Al) Williams currently works for Sulake Habbo Hotel as Marketing Manager, having worked for the company for 2 years. I have been passionate about the advertising industry since school and have worked in the industry in varying degrees since I was 17.

Annie Hunt
Annie has been developing web based learning and teaching tools at Bournemouth University for the last 5 years. Before coming to the University Annie worked in the commercial sector as a business manager, an IT project manager and as a software implementation consultant.
Chris Wensley
Chris is Director of the Centre for Excellence in Media Practice, and Head of Learning and Teaching in the Bournemouth Media School. He teaches on the television degrees, and his research interest is the adaptation of novels and short stories into film and TV.
Deborah Smith

I have worked for Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) for 8 years. Initially managing the field sales system “IOM” and then moving into the eBusiness team 4 years ago to work on the B2B internet developments and the new intranet. In a previous life I was a contemporary dancer performing with a small dance company.

Ian Inniss

Ian has been a commercial artist for 20 years working first as an Illustrator and later as a 3D artist in the computer games industry. He left Electronic Arts to make his first 3D animated film pilot. Soon discovering the lack of infrastructure and support for independent animated film production in this country.

Jim Pope

Jim teaches English literature, interactive narrative, and professional writing in the Media School. He is a published author of teenage fiction, with six novels to his name (so far…). His current research is investigating interactive fiction and new narrative forms, on the web and other digital media.

Joe Flintham

Joe teaches interactive media theory and practice at Bournemouth Media School, and is also a freelance web developer. He is interested in the new opportunities for participation offered by the internet in both learning and media production.

Jonathan Mulvihill

Jonathan has experience with the full range of user experience design and information architecture to identify opportunities, improve user experience and achieve business objectives.
Jonathan has 10 years of experience in the Information Architecture and Online User Experience fields.

Jonathan Wardle
Jon is Head of Projects at CEMP he is responsible for pioneering a range of new technologies to support and enhance media practice learning and teaching. He teaches professional studies across the media production degree programmes and was awarded a Learning & Teaching Fellowship by Bournemouth University in 2004.
Julian Stodd

I’m based in Bournemouth where I work as Director of Learning for Marton House, a leading Training consultancy. I started this part of the business seven years ago and we’ve gone from strength to strength since then, last year turning over more than £5 million.

Justin Amphlett

Web designer & 3D modeller, employed at Creative Solutions in Dorset. Since completing a degree in English, Media & Film 6 yrs ago, all my skills in design have been self taught or learnt within the workplace. I’m keen to move beyond CSS/XHTML design and gain a deeper understanding of server-side languages.

Kevin Hunt

Kevin is a TV Project, Production & Management Consultant, with over 30 years industry experience of production and facilities. Having worked with such as Quantel, the BBC and Legal TV, he is now involved in contemporary ways of structuring and implementing broad and narrow casting; using satellite and/or IPTV.

Laura Hampshaw
Laura has been employed by Bournemouth University since 2003 and was responsible for the financial administration of the Media School. She was appointed by CEMP to manage its £4.1 million budget and to oversee the administration of the Centre. Following her return from maternity leave in early 2009, Laura will also manage the Centre’s projects and her focus will be on the Centre’s sustainability.
Liisa Rohumaa

Liisa is a freelance journalist and lecturer at Bournemouth University. Until recently she was news editor at FT.com and has worked as an internet journalist for six years. She has also worked at The Daily Telegraph, BBC Worldwide, The Stage and started her career in local newspapers as a reporter on the Surrey Comet.

Mike Molesworth
Mike Molesworth teaches online behaviour and culture and interactive marketing strategies at Bournemouth Media School. His research activities include commercial, educational and consumer uses of new technology especially relating to evolving consumer practices in virtual spaces.
Shean Roberts

Shean has over 10 years experience in the TV broadcast and music industry. His company called Tehillah Production provides PPU facilities for filming TV productions and show for broadcast via Satellite or terrestrial and a digital recording studio.

Susan Noyce

Susan Noyce is an assistant editor at The Daily Observer newspaper in Antigua, WI. She has been working in the media for 10 years, ranging from court reporter to features writer and editor. In addition, she is a freelance contributor to a few regional magazines.

Terry Bell

Terry is a writer, editor, social commentator, activist and sometime teacher who has worked in journalism for more than 40 years in a number of countries on three continents. Now based in Cape Town, South Africa, a former political prisoner and exile whose tertiary qualifications are in international law, history and economics.
