So unit 5 is over…and the course only has a little further to run! By the end of Jan it will all be over!
Between you and the finish line is unit 6 – Exhibition. The aim of this unit is to enable you to bring together your work and communicate it through an exhibition presented to a selected audience of peers and other stakeholders. The exhibition will enable you to demonstrate and reflect upon the significant learning journey you have undertaken, the effectiveness of this exhibition will be critically evaluated.
From the description above it should be obvious that the exhibition you put together doesn’t have to only focus on what you just handed in for the Major Project. Although for many of you it will.
To hopefully make this and other issues clear…I’ve attached the assessment criteria and the accompanying podcast.

Over the next two or three weeks in the run up to Christmas we want to tell you all you need to know about this unit…including
•The theme and focus of your Exhibition
•The form of your exhibition
•Gathering feedback on your exhibition
•Appraising your performance and developing an action plan (yes another action plan…and with good reason!)
To get us started I want you each to create a thread about what your Exhibition will be about.
One way of doing this is to think about how you would advertise your exhibition. Have some fun with it, imagine a PR company is trying to drum up interest in your findings. Stick with me!... write a title, strapline and a short description of what your exhibition is about.
So start a thread…telling us the title, strap line and a short description about your exhibition and its findings. Please do this by the end of the week.
I get my undergraduate students to do this sometimes, the process can really help focus the mind on what you ultimately think your project is about!
