Hi All

My final Programme Leader update…can you believe it! Tomorrow you will hand in your final assignment…well done (in advance) for submitting your projects…the hard work is now over…you get your weekends, evenings and daily spare online time back again.

We will endeavour to get your assignments marked by the end of February. The exam board where all the marks are hopefully confirmed (they usually are as we pass marks to the external throughout the year) takes place mid March. At this exam board we also confirm your Masters level (Pass, Merit, Distinction). This is obviously based on your unit 6 assignments making the grade.

Therefore you are likely to get a letter from us in late March detailing how you have done!

We really hope you have enjoyed the course and have found it a valuable experience. The course team and I have really enjoyed working with you and we all feel we have learnt a lot about each of the industries you are working in.

We hope this doesn’t signal the end of our relationship. Between now and the end of March feel free to use this space to continue conversations!

Graduation doesn’t take place till November…the University will write to you and ask if you want to attend…I hope some of you will!

Any questions. Don’t hesitate to post either below or in the forum.
Cheers
J

ps Don’t forget to tell your colleagues about the wonderful course you have just finished…and if you want to carry on your studies at doctoral level let me know!

Don’t want to get ahead of myself, but some of those PhD studentships look enticing. Are any of them open to overseas applicants?

Yes if you can be in Bournemouth regularly!

How frequently does regularly need to be?

I know that sounded facetious, but it was intended as a real question!

Sorry hadn’t spotted this….four days a month…usually one day a week but perhaps two days every two weeks.

That’s helpful, thanks. A few life changes are in order before I can make that commitment. Moving back to the UK is in my action plan though! You guys have plenty of short courses that can keep me busy till then. I keep my eye on Joe and Mike’s blogs too. Do you and Richard keep an online presence?
