Andrew is the Associate Dean (Undergraduate) in The Media School. Andrew has developed a range of taught programmes at the levels of foundation degree, undergraduate, and post-graduate. He is a National Teaching Fellow who has managed a four-year HEFCE funded project on group work and assessment.
Andrew has developed the use of a suite of peer assessment tools, including a computer-assisted self and peer assessment model which is currently being piloted. His pedagogic research interest builds on group and peer assessment, into the assessment of creativity and innovation, and he is working on an online tool to facilitate understandings and solutions to effective assessment of this aspect of media production.
