Chris Wensley is the former Director of the Centre for Excellence in Media Practice. He led the successful bids to HEFCE for an FDTL project into group work assessment and for the establishment of this centre for excellence, together funded at almost £4.5 million
Chris regularly leads workshops and seminars in a range of UK higher education institutions in areas such as learning objectives, the relationship between theory and practice in developing creative capabilities, and the assessment of group work. He has also presented papers on e-learning at international conferences such as Diverse, Learning on Screen, ISSOTL, and Foundation Degrees Forward.
Chris is currently acting as a consultant for Skillset developing its network of Skillset Media Academies.
